Friday night in Second Life. What to do?? I know! How about going to the Boom Pony for some live entertainment? I am always amazed by the quality of the performers in SL. Some perform cover songs that sound better than the originals and some compose and perform their own music. Many play multiple instruments. A lot of the performers at the Boom Pony do it all.
The Boom Pony is open only on Friday nights, but there are other music venues offering shows throughout the week. Seek and you shall find! Most SL performers are very professional and a joy to listen to.
Yes, occasionally there will be a performer who sounds like a cat arguing with a garbage truck, but you don't like every singer in RL, do you? If you don't like the singer, try a different one.
You just have to check around and listen to different performers to find the ones that fit your musical tastes. You'll probably notice a lot of the same avis at the shows of singers you like. Ask them who else they enjoy listening to. You've found your groove!
