The Quest? What Quest? What's up with all these people standing around a character on a sim? They don't seem to be moving or talking but they all are very intense.
These intrepid souls have accepted the challenge from the Bard Queen. They are meeting archetypes from literature and history who are (via pre-recorded messages) giving them hints that will help them in their journey to the ultimate goal: The defeat of the UnWeaver and a mountain of prizes and gifts from just about every merchant @ Fantasy Faire.
If you are up to a challenge, want to help Relay for Life, are good at solving puzzles, like to explore, or if you simply would like to see your inventory explode from the mountain of goodies at the end of the quest, purchase a hud at any of the landing points. You will need the hud to participate.

You can purchase either a regular Quest Hud L$250, or the Deluxe Hud L$350. The deluxe version includes the outfit shown here as well as an outfit for the men both from Silvan Moon, so is well worth the extra cost.

Pop home or to a sandbox so that you can open the box and change your clothes.

Attach Cheer to your shoulder. You won't be able to see him at first, but he is very important to your success, so be sure you're wearing him.

Go forth and enjoy. Once you unlock Cheer, he may be of help to you. Ask fellow travelers for help if you get stuck. You'll recognize them by the dragon on their shoulder and the puzzled looks on their faces. They may not have the answers you need, but it's nice having company when you're wandering through a swamp or up a mountain side.
