What are you doing this weekend?

Fantasy Gay Pride 2021: the Tarot Opens today. The goal of Fantasy Gay Pride is to encourage acceptance of all healthy forms of sexual expression and presentation with an emphasis on SL residents who prefer the Fantasy life. Time to break out your wings, tails, horns and pointy ears and join the fun.

FGP2021 offers 22 unique builds on two regions all themed around the Major Arcana. I built 3 of the areas you might see in the Halls of Story. SL residents of all sexual orientations are invited to drop in till Sept 26 to enjoy the entertainment, relax, take some pictures and do the HUNT!
Magic mirrors like the one shown in the picture take you from one island to the other, otherwise be prepared to swim, fly or take one of the elven boats across!

Many of your favorite designers have goodies in the Fashion Essentials shopping area and are offering one item @ 50% off. I wore one of the sale outfits as I was running around doing last minute trouble shooting for FGP.

Consulting the Cards

Offering you a sneak peek of the soon-to-open Fantasy Gay Pride 2021: the Tarot.

There are 22 unique areas, each based on the cards in the Major Arcana. I'm using the Tower as the background for today's photo shoot.

This festival to celebrate LGBTQ+ lifestyles with a fantasy flare is in its 12th year and will run from Sept 17 - 26. There will be lots of live music, DJ dances, photo opportunities, a full Mer sim and a 2-region Hunt. The event opens Friday @ 1pm slt. There are no sales at this event, but lots of FREE gifts.

Consider this your invitation! I'll post the LMs once the doors open.

Private Island

Welcome to Brando Island at Fantasy Gay Pride 2020. This region built on Susyn's Sparkling Sea is a tribute to a RL luxury resort in French Polynesia. There are a number of islands in the archipelago, each featuring something to be found at the real resort. Pictures here were taken at the Cabins and the Bird Sanctuary.

My resort wear has to be comfortable while looking sexy and pulled together. No sequins or trailing silks for me! I want to be able to go out in the rowboats and hike around the islands without having to worry about my clothing.

Fantasy Gay Pride 2020: Music Sept 18-27

Inviting Fantasy Lovers of all sexual orientations to join us for our 11th Year celebration.

Our theme is MUSIC. Enjoy interactive exhibits, live shows, a luxury resort inspired by the RL Brando Island and a large mer area in Susyn's Sparkling Sea. Dancing, poetry, an event-wide Hunt and photo ops galore on two regions!

We offer something for almost everybody. We tend to prefer fairy wings to board shorts and belly dance to techno music, but you will find lots of variety in our stage shows and dances.

Opening Friday at noon SLT. The event is M, so follow LL guidelines and TOS for your dress and behavior. Fantasy wear and Avatars are encouraged. There will be costume contests throughout the 10 days of fun, but wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, just be there!

One last look from Designer Showcase for September

Inspired by the EXCLUSIVE Asia Skin from 7 Deadly S{k}ins, I decided to go exotic. You will find the featured items @ Designer Showcase * till Sept 28.

Showing 3 shades of the skin, Pineapple, Pecan and Oak. There are 10 shades in all, in sets of darks and lights, so you can go from very light to rich dark. This is the skin just as it comes from the box, no extra makeup or lighting effects added. There is also a shape available. These skins are also available as system skins to use with your BOM appliers. (Always try the demos to see how you like shapes and skins on your avi!)

Night moves

I donned another look from Designer Showcase as I wandered through the Statue Forest @ Fantasy Gay Pride last Monday.
Fantasy Gay Pride is celebrating it's 10th year in SL. There are dances, stage shows, poetry readings, an art/photo gallery, a sim-wide hunt and all sorts of merriment and mayhem going on till Sept 29, when the whole place disappears for another year.
Open to all sexualities, their goal is to promote understanding and acceptance of all healthy lifestyles. Fantasy Gay Pride is a featured event in the Destination Guide. Check it out!

The gown from Sascha's Designs comes with multi-texture hud which ranges from very subtle to bright and bold. You'll find it @ Designer Showcase* till September 28.
