This week in SL

It's been a long time since I've done a compilation blog of events to visit. 

There is s-o-o-o much happening this month, it's hard to decide what to include, but the must-sees for me have been the following events... 

1 Hair Fair ~ Web Page

Always one of my favorites. You'll find the latest hairstyles, accessories and free gifts in many of the shops. Shops that include items for the guys have huge Male symbols floating above them to make them easier to find. Donations and a portion of most sales go to benefit Wigs for Kids.

For those who love the sea or the shore, this semi-fantasy event includes skins, tails, hair and makeup for merfolk as well as beachwear and casual summer needs for all.

A well organized event with lots of entertainment, free gifts and a discount in-store shopping component that offers PRIDE related items for L$99. Many of the popular stores are on board with this one Seraphim Previews.

Remembering Blue

Just a Little Naughty

This outfit from Jumo* is currently available @ Designer Showcase*.  

I'm not saying that anything naughty was going on, but the shirt is mis-buttoned so that there's a bit of peek-a-boo on one side and the shirt tail is slightly off as though I dressed hurriedly in the dark.

• The outfit is a one piece that looks like a shirt, jacket and shorts available in 9 color palettes, each sold separately with 3 shirt prints, 2 shorts colors and one jacket color. The fatpack includes all colors and an EXTRA hud with 3 shirt prints, 3 jacket colors and 3 shorts colors. The pictures here show the black palette as well as mix and match combos using the Red, Orange and Extra huds.

[QE] Designs @ Mermaid Cove

Mermaid Cove brings you all the looks a siren or merperson needs as well as looks that will burn up the beach for those who don't have fins and flippers.

The Ibiza Set from [QE] features 7 bright summery prints and 6 coordinated accent colors to mix and match in your choice of true tone textures for use with regular graphic settings or materials for use with advanced lighting (photos taken with Advanced Lighting and Materials active). Set includes top, bottoms, optional sleeves, skirt and belt.

I decorated my beach house with goodies from [QE] including the Costal Lanterns* and potted Banana Plant* to be found @ Mermaid Cove as well as the framed Vintage Cartography on the wall and the pillows & rug from the Georgina Decor Set. The latter items can be found at the [QE] Main Store.

There are days a woman just needs to take control. Showing I mean business with two different white texture variations on this belted jacket dress from KiB *. There are a variety of airy prints and soft solid colors in the hud for a total of 30 possible looks.

This month's Pretty Event's offerings from [QE] Designs are not only pretty, but covered with rainbows. You can't go wrong with cute graphics and rainbow colors!

Hitting the beach @ Deception. This tribute sim to the Deception TV series is having a month-long Pride celebration and is always open for fun at the beach, hanging out at the pub or in the Archive. This is a no-hassle, no-sex sim for anyone who enjoys music and good company without any pressure.
