There have been a LOT of photos since then, but I have always felt a debt of gratitude to Anne for making me feel so comfortable that day. It's a long weekend for a lot of those in the States. It's time for US citizens to play (read that watch) baseball, grill hamburgers, drink beer, and for anybody west of the Mississippi to dress up like cowboys. Even those who have never met a cow outside a butcher's cold case put on boots and cowboy hats and go around doing their own version of a western drawl... because we're Americans and that's what we do. Oh, and don't forget the fireworks!
Needing a cowboy fix, I went to visit the horses a @ Golden Meadows Horse Trail.
You can bring your own horse or borrow one from the rezzer in the barn and explore this lovely sim. If you can't go riding in RL, this is a nice substitute and has the advantage of no sunburn or stiff muscles when you finish.
