It's almost time for the Fairelands to disappear into the mists from whence it appears each year. There's a sense of loss to know that all that beauty and those feelings of fellowship are so transitory, but that's part of the magic.
It takes a huge effort from a lot of people to make Fantasy Faire a reality and none of us can maintain that level of intensity forever.
The spirit this year has been amazing. It's been a wonderful experience to watch and to participate.
There has been a sense of community celebration like nothing I've experienced in the past.
"We are all builders" has become a watchword I hope we will remember throughout the year.
