Weekend of February 16

First, let me introduce you to my newest sponsor: [QE] Designs!

There are lots of pretties available @ the [QE] Main Store including clothing and decorative items for the home. Don't forget to look upstairs, where you'll find the separates that I'm wearing. Okay, now for the biweekly event update... There is a LOT going on in SL this weekend.

Here are a few of the events that I can personally recommend:

Enchanted ~ Feb 1- 28 Beauty and the Beast ~ Fantasy items with shopping, gachas and the starting point for a grid wide hunt. Lots of Belle dresses of all types and sizes and roses galore.

Redeux ~ Feb 14-21 Fantasy, Medieval and Gorean wares, lots of free gifts with the group tag and tons of gachas and discount items. This just opened, so it's going to be crowded and was very laggy when I was there. You might want to save this one till Monday or so, but no later than that because it's only one week.

Shop Your Heart Out  continues till Feb 26. Two sims of shopping with some of your favorite clothing and hair designers and a few home furnishings and poses for good measure. Free gifts and discounts. This opened last week, so the crowds have thinned somewhat and you should be able to get in and move around without many problems.

Valentine's Fair @ Lost Spirits continues till Feb 28. Click HERE for my blog about this event. I liked the sims so much, I now have a small cottage on the Jade Coast side. Drop by and say "hi" if you're in the neighborhood.

Valentine's Breakup

The day began so happily. You found a sexy new dress and shoes from DE.Boutique and some great jewelry from Moondance Boutique @ Designer Showcase.  You went home and fixed your hair and put on the juicy lipstick you'd found at the DE.Boutique main store.

You set out the sweet deserts, prepared the candles and waited... and waited... and waited...

As the sun set and the light started to fade, you worried and wondered what might have delayed him on this special day. Then the light of the setting sun hit the note that had fallen behind the loveseat. That bum had chosen Valentine's day to break up and hadn't even had the decency to tell you face to face. The coward had left a note.

You couldn't decide whether to laugh or cry. If he knew what you'd planned for the evening, he'd never have left. His loss! Wonder if it's too late to call that cute guy you met at the coffee shop this morning?

Stairway to Heaven

You climb the stairway to heaven and come to a door guarded by a being with a double ended Greek spear, who really isn't going to let you pass unless you deserve to enter. Forget St Peter; you have to get passed me to talk to him!

One doesn't often find fantasy outfits @ Designer Showcase. This Saleema outfit from AnaStyle combines a mail top with a sexy tied mini and matching chain sandals.

You really don't need to be a warrior to wear it. It would make a fun Valentine's outfit for someone adventurous. Yes, it is see through! I'm wearing flesh colored pasties in the pictures.The chain sandals are included.
