Force of Nature

I know it's hard to think of Winter as a beautiful thing when your pipes are frozen and you can't open the door because the drifts are so deep, but winter is a time of rest and rejuvenation for the world. It gives us time to reflect upon the things and people which are most important to us. Here's praying that your hearts and your homes will be warm and that bountiful new growth will result from nature's resting period.

My hair and wings are old favorites that I take out each winter. [BTW, the gown is a lovely white brocade. My windlight setting makes it look pinky-purple in the pictures]
