Glinka Gallery New Location

The Glinka Gallery has moved to a new location and has a whole new look.

These pictures will give you just a hint at what you can find there now. There are several new exhibits that I'm not including. Come to the gallery and see for yourself!

Calling all Gamers: Saving Throw Extra Life 2022

• Do you love board games? Card games?
• Does Greedy bring out your inner gambler?
• Does the sight of a 20-sided die give you palpitations? 
• Do you enjoy carnival rides or arcade games? 
• Do you just want to watch... or go shopping? 
• We will be highlighting all the ways you can play in-world, including sports tournaments, tabletop RPGs, card games, and board games.

• Regardless of your level of involvement, don't miss Saving Throw Extra Life 2022 August 19 - 29! 

This is the second year of SL participation in support of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. It's unique in all those ways that only a SL gaming event can be. 

You can participate directly or watch others playing. There will be sales and a silent auction. You can donate at the event or online and purchases and participation all help to support children's hospitals across North America.

Donations raised will go to the "general fund" to be used as the individual hospitals need.

Leather & Lace

I hosted a Leather and Lace party on Saturday.
What to wear? I wanted something sexy but refined. Hmmmm.... I know! 

That awesome set from Black Angel Store in the August round of Designer Showcase!

• Top, Jacket, Pants and Heels from Black Angel Store can be individually tinted with 15 rich textures each. I used basic black and red to fit the decor of the Gothic club, but I had fun wearing the bright yellow heels and top with the red outfit

Side-tracked on the road to San Francisco

They say that if you can remember the 60's you weren't really there.

Obviously, Mahogany was either there and remembered or did some serious research before making the wonderful retro look now available at Designer Showcase.

Just in time for the inevitable Woodstock anniversary parties, these Bell Bottoms and Fringed Top are subtly colored and reflect the craft methods actually used for clothing decoration in the 60's: crewel embroidery thread, traditional quilt patterns and acrylic paints. We were living works of art.
So glad that somebody finally got it right! There are 6 color combinations in the hubs.

We took a break in July, but Designer Showcase is back and has been totally remodeled. The display area is bigger and better than ever, and the region now includes a club where Aisha will be performing and an outdoor cafe perfect for gathering with friends after you've finished shopping from the latest collection!
