I See [QE] in Your Future

If you're looking for something really different this costume season, stop by [QE] Designs. 
This Futura outfit should do the trick. It isn't a costume per se but it can certainly be used for one. You can turn the pieces orange trimmed with black if you want to be really tradional, but each piece including the individual Platform Boots comes with a hud of colors, so you can mix and match to your heart's content! The vendors are hidden in the back of the store so enjoy exploring till you find them. You might even spot a few hunt items on your way. 

My nails are Sticky Fingers from Mani Pedi and look perfect with the latex. Find them w-a-a-a-a-y up on the 3rd level of the store. As always, there are hunts going in the store and links to interesting events on the notice boards.

There are soooo many hunts, activities and sales going on this weekend, it's impossible to more than scratch the surface, but I do want to give a shout out to three that IMHO are particularly good...

The Mad Circus and Gacha Fair ~ The name pretty well tells the story. 

A sim full of shops and gachas in a disturbing abandoned Circus.  
Atmosphere, unusual merchandise and L$10 gifts as well... hard to go wrong with that. 

Warning: creepy clowns. I didn't take any pictures because, yes, clowns are creepy.

Spookzillo ~ What would happen if dozens of SL designers got together and put out hunt items? Using little ghosts that look like they escaped from a Pacman machine, this event has haunted houses, a cemetery, a swamp and other spooky locations which are littered with ghosts. Pay L$0 to L$25 to purchase the contents of each ghost. 
[QE] Designs, one of my sponsors, has 10 of the little spooks hidden at the event.

Trick or Treat Lane Continues through Nov 2 ~ There are 52 designers represented at ToTL. These are the folks who do spooky, weird and magical all year round, so you'll find some of the best designs in SL here. I've shown you some of the specials and free gifts on my Dark Blog. I recommend this one if you want quality items and EXCLUSIVES. 

There is also a FREE gift at each shop.

I'm mixing things up today. I hope you do that as well. I had somebody say to me "My outfit doesn't match". The person had worn a top from one designer with pants from another. 
They looked great together, but my friend thought that somehow that was wrong because they didn't arrive in the same box. 
I don't know about you, but I mix and match things all the time. It extends your wardrobe and gives you a look that isn't exactly like everybody else in SL. 

Top pic: I'm wearing the lingerie that comes as part of the Dark Magic fatpack from DE.Boutique with the Ariel dress from Essence. The dress is really revealing and I love the lace bodysuit and the nylon stockings from DE! You see only the edge of the lingerie when you wear the outfit it "belongs" with, so I thought this is a nice compromise. 

Lower pic: shows the Ariel dress without the additional covering and in a more playful texture.  I'm also wearing the Ariel boots instead of stockings and heels.  The outfits are so reasonably priced @ Designer Showcase, you can get both of them and really expand your fashion possibilities!

Hunting Halloween: Calas

If you want a real challenge and a lot of fun, try the Dig Maze @ Calas Galadhon Park. 
Calas is always a "must see" destination for me and my friends every season, but particularly at Halloween.
You'll find scares galore and the ultimate prize: the performance area in the heart of the maze.  I included the photo below just to give you an idea of the size of this maze. It's huge!

I attended a concert presented by Samm Qendra (right) being held in the center of the maze and had a frightfully good time!
Samm is one of the finest singers in SL. 
I've known her since she first came to SL and I've really enjoyed watching her blossom as a performer. 

I'm comfortable in a stylish dress from KiB.
