Weekend of July 7

It's too hot to spend much time outdoors, but fortunately, you can shop to your heart's content in SL without breaking a sweat. There are lots of shopping events this weekend, so whether you tastes run to beachwear, casuals, fantasy, formals or something else, you'll find items to delight.
Listed alphabetically, here are some of my favorites:

Designer Showcase July 5-31
This is a monthly event. This round offers lots of beachwear, casuals, jewelry and shoes from some of your favorite designers. Always a good place to find the latest looks at reasonable prices.

Gacha Guardians Free gifts for group members and specialty items for frequent players. Instead of one big circle of machines this time, there are a number of small ones, so if you think you've reached the end, you probably missed something.

Hair Fair July 1-16
Find the latest hair styles, colors and accessories. Free gifts in many of the shops. Men's hair is easy to find, just look for the huge signs that point to stores with men's products. Part of the purchase price of hairs sold during the fair is donated to Wigs for Kids, an organization that provides real hair for kids who have lost their own through illness or accident.

Midsummer Enchantment Ends July 9
A lovely special event for those who enjoy having a little magick in their lives. Besides some wonderful clothing, there is a L$5 hunt and Exclusive items at each of the shops. This event also features displays by several wedding planners, so if your big day is coming up, you might want to check out the offerings

Square1 July 7-31
This is a monthly event. This round offers lots of poses as well as clothing and gachas. Casuals and cutting edge outfits are available at low prices.
