Fusion 101 March 10 ~ April 6

Combine a fun laced romper from Le Fashion Whore with some poofy nails from DaneMarkZ and gacha boots from Blueberry and what do you have? A fun casual set. If you need something a little dressier, add that cute skirt that's been languishing in your inventory and your look can transition into a club outfit.

The rompers come in 12 colors with a smooth and a denim version of each color. You get both versions of each color or you can buy a fat pack with all of them. The colors are bright as Easter eggs and the romper fits and moves well. For L$101 each, you really can't go wrong.

The DanemarkZ nails have subtle dandelion fluff on pastel backgrounds. They come with the usual 10 colors of nail awesomeness for Maitreya or Omega.

Weekend of March 17

Watch for Ember's Cauldrons in your favorite fantasy shops. One of SL's favorite creators of magical environments, Elicio Ember from Cerridwen's Cauldron, has given and given and is now on the receiving end

of the great cycle. His father has been ill and the medical bills are stacking up. The fantasy creators who will

be bringing you Fantasy Faire in April have taken time out of their busy schedules to dedicate their talents to

help one of their own.

You can donate directly to the cauldrons or purchase special items with proceeds going to the charity fund.
Pick up a Shopping Hud at any of the stores to be taken swiftly to the other participating locations.

Fusion 101 This month's offerings are cute, colorful and comfortable. There are some free group gifts including this cute dress, Marisol 24 KT from Ana Markova. Most items are L$101 or less, so a new spring look is not going to ruin your budget.

The Purple Connection Fair I hope you like purple, because you're going to be seeing a lot of it in the next few months. Relay for Life, SL's favorite charity event, which raises donations for Cancer Research, uses purple as a unifying color. If you don't already have a wardrobe full of purples, visit the Purple Connection Fair. The event features 50L Specials, donation creations, gifts and many 50% discounted items, all in purple or trimmed with purple. Lots of gachas with all sorts of things in all sorts of colors, too.

Skin Fair offers skins, shapes, makeup, tattoos, nails and just about anything else you need to make your avatar unique. The massive crowds of last weekend should have dissipated by now and you can actually get in and do some browsing. I'm wearing Catwa's Bento Exclusive head, Lona, and Belleza's Callie skin. Though many of the items will be available later in the designers' shops, Fair Exclusive items will only be available till March 26.

It's only puppy love

Still in New Orleans and feeling much more relaxed after my presentation. Going to head for Bourbon Street later, but right now just chillin' with this adorable furry friend.

This is another New Orleans tribute sim and I'm right on the waterfront looking at some cute turn of the century houses. I'm really tempted to rent this one.

Fusion 101 is goin' to Disneyland!

Isn't this a cute dress from Ana Markova? It's equally good for sight seeing or those "casual sharp" dance venues. It fits well and the textures are excellent!
"Emma" is available in seven different prints for the usual L$101/each @ Fusion 101 until March 6.

My friends and I enjoy visiting tribute sims and amusement parks when we want an activity that just makes us feel good. They're almost as much fun as the real thing without the expense or the long hike across the parking lot. If you're looking for something different to do, take a trip to Fantasyland, the Haunted Mansion or ride the Teacups. You'll feel like a kid again! Search Places for "tribute".

... and the Secret Affair? Mermaid apparel and accessories...perfect for the beach, but I may never get to see it. It's getting dark and she still isn't here.

Wednesday in New Orleans

While looking for fun things to do, I went over to the Hunt Headquarters and saw a listing for a Tarot Hunt.
I collect tarot cards, so it seemed like something I would enjoy. I did...immensely! Not because of the prizes, but because of the delightful sim.

If you've always wanted to go to New Orleans, you need to visit New Toulouse. You can start right here in Lafitte's Old Primsmith Bar. I'd like to say I started my blues career here, but the only one in the audience was a lobster that kept flipping over on his back and playing dead when I hit the high notes.

At least I look the part in this lovely gown from Ana Markova. Since there are vodouns who might take offense at my terrible singing, I have protective sigils from Carol G tattooed on my spine.

The great escape

There I was, minding my own business... just taking a few pictures of this cute outfit from Blossom featured @ Fusion 101... when suddenly this guy appears out of nowhere asking for my help.
It was like a scene from a movie: "My name is Tom. You have to help me! They're going to kill me!"

I listened to Tom's story and agreed that he did have a problem, so we hatched a plan.
I hopped on my trike, he jumped in the basket and we escaped to safety.
I met his wife, Henrietta, and all the little Toms. I now have a whole flock of new friends.

You never know who you might meet in SL and the day can always be an adventure when you're open to the possibilities.

New Event: Fusion 101 Nov 10 - Dec 6

I'm excited to have been asked to blog for SL's newest shopping experience, Fusion 101.
This event features items from popular designers at REALLY reasonable prices. Most are L$101 or less (clever how that works, isn't it?). For the grand opening, many of the designers are offering group gifts. There are two shopping islands decorated in lovely frosty trees and a park with interesting photo props.

I just love this fun casual look from Tori's Stylez.
The Kara tank and jacket can be worn separately, but work really well together. The set is a special edition for Fusion 101; 16 other colors are also available.
