Fantasy Faire Day 8

Ursula K. LaGuin Day and Other LitFest Activities

One component of Fantasy Faire is the Literature Festival.
Since myths, legends and science fiction inform so much of our fantasy lives, it's only right that we give credit to those origins.
This year, a special day was dedicated to author Ursula K. Le Guin and her far ranging and unique worlds. Creatures of all sorts frolicked at a Wizard of Earthsea Ball in UnderTroll Meadow in Trollhaugen.

“People who deny the existence of dragons are often eaten by dragons." ~ Ursula K. LaGuin

Thank you and hats off to the many readers, poets and writers involved in various LitFest activities presented in Fantasy Faire 2019.
(Picturing just a few of the Lit events I attended)

I wore a simple but elegant dress called Soothsayer from Poet's Heart to many of Wednesday's LitFest events. It suited the atmosphere of Trollhaugen, combining spiked shoulders and a traditional styled kidney belt with an easy fit knit dress.
