Twilight Spring
The official description of this sim reads thus: Dark elves that follow the Church of Eilistraee. A temple/community/waypoint between the Underdark and the surface world. Primarily a place for Drow leaving the Underdark to acclimate themselves to surface living.
I didn't see many signs of the Drow* on my way through Twilight Spring. I did see amazing vistas and cataracts of crystal waters among the rocky crystals. Though I saw many statues that might have been abstract depictions of Eilistraee, I saw no Drow besides myself.
But perhaps that's because the Drow blend into their dark world so seamlessly. There is darkness here, but it doesn't speak of danger. It is the darkness of memory.
There are many tales of the Drow, not all of them complimentary, and it is up to you to decide whether or not they are to be believed. I, for one, was glad to see that they are represented at this year's Fantasy Faire.
