A peek at the newest exhibit at the Glinka Galleries:
Lewes - an English Town, is a RL photography collection by (ab)Normal photographer, Dave Themanthat.

Chat during the opening showed that everyone who saw them felt as though the photos could be places in our own hometowns, wherever those happened to be all over the globe.

The opening included music by Brendan Shoreland as well as a dance with DJ Arc on the new outdoor dancefloor. Drop in to see the exhibits and meet the fascinating folks that frequent the Glinka Galleries. There's always something interesting and you'll feel right at home.

Friday @ 11 am slt, the Sway & Dance Troupe will present a dance show.

Wearing a classic outfit by Hilly Haalan that will provide stylish comfort wherever you wear it. I chose colors that would let me blend in with the monochromatic photos of the exhibit, but there are 40 textures for the sweater, the skirt and the belt ranging from soft pastels to businesslike tweads. Building Bridges

It takes both sides to build a bridge ~ Frederik Nael

Today we're visiting "Bridge", an artistic presentation by Cica Ghost featured in the Destination Guide. A pair of colorful villages linked by a long stone bridge create an ambiance of childlike wonder. The little houses look like something children would have shaped from clay as they worked to form the perfect place to live, free of the tension and troubles of the adult world. A friendly dragon guards the bridge. And, of course, there are silly kitties everywhere.

Wearing basic black and white that contrasts nicely with the pastel houses.

Because Freedom is Never Free

The 14th Annual SL Veteran's Tribute is a lovely build full of reminders of the true cost of the rights we enjoy in the U.S., as well as providing an inworld memorial to ALL those HEROES who paid the ultimate price and to those who are still serving in the armed services around the world.

You can submit names to be added to the memorial wall as well as being able to decorate those already included with flowers and flags.

Wearing a camo belted top from London Girl available @ Designer Showcase in hopes that, in the future, camo will become nothing more than a fashion statement. The top is available in 10 solid colors + 10 prints
