1. Decide what shops you really want to visit and make sure your LMs are current for them.
You might even go so far as to locate the items you must have and make a LM for them.
At least have a good idea where they are located in the store so you don't have to wander around looking for that particular thing you saw during that hunt...
2. Travel light. That means no extra huds or kissers or anything that is likely to be highly scripted or laggy.
I can't tell you how many times I've experienced someone in a really elaborate outfit, big hair and dragging around a dozen pets pitching a fit about a sim being laggy.
You wouldn't wear an evening gown to shop or ride your horse inside the store in RL.
Take a hint!
3. Bring your sense of humor and your patience. No sense getting worked up over tech issues or lag. It doesn't make them go away. Learn to laugh at all of us trying to get around with our clothes in our hands and our brains showing. It's much more fun than RL!
When you get tired of trying to push your way around the big box stores, I suggest a trip to DE.Boutique. You've seen the name at some of the best sales events, but if you haven't visited the main store, you've missed a lot! There are nice outfits and footwear that will be perfect for the upcoming holiday season. You can take care of your gift buying needs by taking advantage of the gift cards on sale for 50% off during Black Friday.
I'm wearing Iris in Black, red, and gray with Astrid shoes. The top and pants have separate huds so you can mix and match. Shoes sold separately.
My nails are Honeymoon from Mani Pedi .
