Designer Showcase November 5 - 25

I'm the kind of person who manages to find a bookshop any time I enter a new town.
Used books are some of my favorite things.
This casual look I put together from the November Designer Showcase collection is perfect for poking around the delightful junque/bookstore I found in Missing Melody.

Drawing Down the Moon with [QE Home]

BamPu Legacies @ Spookzilla

Another look at the madness that is Spookzilla. I combined items from two of my sponsors with a skin that I stumbled over while looking for a different spook to create a unique witchy experience.

There are 250 merchants represented at Spookzilla in 2 adjacent regions. Each merchant has multiple spooks to hunt down and purchase for L$25 or less. At last count, there were 1700 spooks hidden, so get out your magnifying glasses and go Hunting; this is going to take a while!

The Halloween Tree

October isn't all about jump scares and things that go bump in the night. It's also about beautiful colors and stories shared among friends.

I visited the story area of Haunted Hollow in Chestnut Hills, where you can hear the nice folks from the Seanchai Library present The Halloween Tree by Ray Bradbury.

I have loved this book since I was about 12 years old, and the readers do an excellent job of presenting it. You've missed Part 1, but there will be a recap and readings of Parts 2 & 3 October 23 and 30 @ 1:30 slt . The region is lovely. There is a hunt and other seasonal activities throughout the month, so be sure to drop by.

You can look as colorful as you wish while maintaining that seasonal feel as shown with this look that you'll find @ Designer Showcase.

[QE] @ Spookzilla October 20 - November 1

[QE] Designs & [QE Home] are well represented @ Spookzilla 2022!

This is a "region wide hunt featuring 200 designer brands that have hidden juicy prizes all over the land for you to seek out! We are a tricky bunch, maybe even cruel, as we do not offer so much as breadcrumbs to prize locations. It's up to you to scouer the land, looking high and low for floating ghosties, stuffed with your precious prizes!" *

The hardest part of the Spookzilla Hunt is finding all the pieces to complete a collection. The spooks are pretty easy to find but there are SO MANY of them! I find myself looking for the [QE] PURPLE spooks and suddenly I'm distracted by TEAL or YELLOW or... yes, even PINK! Check out the Hunt Keys for prize pictures.
