• Bradbury Project 2024 is a seasonal event that brings back memories of Halloween in middle America during the 1950s.  Produced by Seanchai Library, you're invited to walk in the steps of Tom Skelton and his friends in Ray Bradbury's 1970s fantasy novel "The Halloween Tree." It offers evocative Hallowe'en sights, stories and photo ops without resorting to jump scares or cannibal clowns.

• The SL Renaissance Festival in support of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is drawing to a close. Don't miss this opportunity to go back in time and enjoy the sights and sounds of the RenFest.

Since the first event Saturday will be a Ragnarök Viking Show, I decided to return to my Northern Roots for today's look. I encourage you to explore the shops thoroughly rather than just glancing in the doorway. Viki has a whole section dedicated to men's clothing and accessories, but you might not notice the stairway going up and the little sign reading "Men ►" if you stride by too quickly.

Striding Around the SL Renaissance Festival

• SL Renaissance Festival in support of the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer continues through Sunday. There will be Live Performers, DJ's, Tournaments, Auctions and Shopping until the RenFest disappears back into the mists of time. 
• 50-100% of the sales of each item in the special kiosks will be donated to ACS programs. Have fun for a worthy cause!
