Weekend of July 4

It's a long weekend for a lot of those in the States. It's time for US citizens to play (read that watch) baseball, grill hamburgers, drink beer, and for anybody west of the Mississippi to dress up like cowboys. Even those who have never met a cow outside a butcher's cold case put on boots and cowboy hats and go around doing their own version of a western drawl... because we're Americans and that's what we do. Oh, and don't forget the fireworks! 

Needing a cowboy fix, I went to visit the horses a @ Golden Meadows Horse Trail. 
You can bring your own horse or borrow one from the rezzer in the barn and explore this lovely sim. If you can't go riding in RL, this is a nice substitute and has the advantage of no sunburn or stiff muscles when you finish.

I'm wearing an outfit from Wild available @ Designer Showcase* starting July 5.  
It includes the dress in 3 designs and 5 colors with a removeable jacket in 8 colors. The thigh-high denim boots can match or contrast in 5 colors.
I've coordinated the stones in a bracelet and rings from Moondance Boutique, also @ Designer Showcase. The full set includes a necklace, bracelets earrings and rings.

My nails are by Mani Pedi, of course. These are called Cozmique and come in 12 jewel colors. They have a subtle sprinkling of crystals across the center of each nail. You'll find these @ Dazzle
